Mount Hafeet, Al Ain

Our next destination after Al Ain Wildlife Park was Al Hafeet Mountain (Jebel Hafeet). The mountain actually straddles part of the border with Oman. The mountain rises 1249 meters and offers an impressive view over the city. Jebel Hafeet was a well-known landmark and is a contemporary tourist attraction.

 On the way up, there's 3 stops. This picture below was taken at the first stop.

 Then, we stopped at Mercure Hotel. At first we planned to spend a night here (around DHS600 for std room) but Mama had to be on stand-by in Dubai for a mtg with client the next day. so tak jadi lah.

This picture below was taken at the peak of Jebel Hafeet. Very cooling was the weather. And the view of the whole Al Ain city could be seen from up here.
